Together with Dave Wagner, UConn entomologist, and Ed Smith, Two Rivers Magnet, we ran a middle school biological diversity investigation, funded by the Richard P. Garmany Fund. In the summers of 2014 to 2018, we visited meadows, forests, wetlands, and dunes in the vicinity of Hartford. We observed and collected insects (especially), spiders, vertebrates, and plants.
